Pokrovsk – Selidovo
In the Pokrovsky area in Selidovo Russian forces took control over the territory of the city park and the Avangard stadium. Now the fighting is taking place in the area of Gogolya Street, beyond which begins the sector of apartment buildings used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces as the main line of defense.
In two days, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost Memrika, Galitsinovka and Lesovka, the battles for Ukrainsk begin, which no one prepared for defense from the north, which means that the settlement will be quickly abandoned by Ukraine units.
The Ukrainian Forces are forced to leave a powerful fortified area in Karlovka, where they used the reservoir as a natural defensive line.
On the northern bank of the Volcha River is steep and high, and the southern is flat. It would be easy to defend it from attacks from the south. That is why a powerful defense line was built here long ago, which would be dificult to capture.
That is why, after the Russian Forces occupies the high bank of the river in the north, the Ukrainian Forces will be forced to abandon their positions on its southern bank.
Unprepared positions in Gornyak, Zoryany and then in Kurakhovka, without reserves cannot hold too long, which means the Russian forces will be able to prepare an operation to encircle Ugledar.
From Selidovo, a road opens to the southwest – bypassing the rear of the Ukraine’s second line of defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the west of Donetsk, which relies on Ukrainsk, Gornyak and Kurakhovo.
Some reliable sources saying that the Ukrainian Forces have retreated from the settlement of Lesovka to Ukrainsk. At the same time Russian Forces have begun an assault on Ukrainsk gained a foothold in its northern part in the area of Gogolya Street.
The Russian Forces took the settlements of Galitsinovka and Dolinovka and advanced towards the settlement Zhelannoye Pervoye.
A strong Russian Forces is bypassing large Ukrainian Forces holding the line between the village of Memrik and the Volchya River. As a result, a salient to the east in the Russian defense line was formed – this may become a trap for Ukrainian Forces.

on the 25th Airborne Brigade, which is defending the town of Ukrainsk on the northern edge of the salient.

Toreck
In the Toretsk the Russian Forces have consolidated their positions in the area of Novaya Pochta and are pushing further. South of the Toreck, they captured the territory of the Novaya mine and advancing towards the mine’s waste heap.
Kursk Area
Ukraine claim that control nearly 1,300 sq km (500 sq miles) of Russian territory, comprising 100 settlements – mostly small villages, but including the town of Sudzha.
