DniproHES, Zaporizhzhia dam suffered strikes to its hydraulic structures, state hydropower company Ukrhidroenergo said, adding there was no risk of a breach. Unconfirmed reports that Ukrainians plan to open the flood gates of Dnepro dam to flood Zaporozhie and create huge problems for Russian troops could be the reason for strike to dam hydraulic structures to prevent Ukraine to destroy the dam like they did with Kakhovka dam.

The reason for massive attacks in last two days could be to force Ukraine to shift air defence systems protecting ground troops close and on frontline from Russian Air Force gliding bombs.

After taking Avdeevka Ukraine started to build fortifications. Ukraine fortification seems good idea and hope that Russian will fail like Ukraine forces did in last summer counteroffensive. There is a massive difference in strategy: Russian forces are engaged in a gradual, methodical advance, cracking heavily fortified Ukrainian defences with FAB’s and  after idiot Biden send cluster munition to Ukraine also with cluster bombs.

The fortifications Ukraine has now are weaker than the previous ones. And some of them are improvised. If Russia broke through deeply built fortifications they will also break through the weaker ones now.

Russia use of FAB’s look like Windows operating system upgrade, they first started with FAB-250 dumb bomb converted to glide bombs, than FAB-500 and now FAB-1500,en masse FAB-3000 producing is in full capacity. Gliding bomb implicates devastation and heavy casualties. Russian now using a seemingly inexhaustible supply of these bombs to leave Ukrainian forces with nothing to defend and nowhere to shelter.

Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said

“We know that Ukraine is now having to make strategic decisions to withdraw troops from certain areas in order to bolster their defensive lines. These are really hard, tough decisions, and they have to make them because we can’t provide them with the systems they need because we don’t have congressional authorization. So the best way to support Ukraine is to get Congress to take more action. And you heard the secretary of defense who convened the Ukraine defense contact group earlier this week. And he said very strongly that we’re not going to let Ukraine lose. And we’re not going to let that happen. But we need help from Congress to make sure that Ukraine gets what it needs”.

On question “So there are no plans to send troops there anytime soon”? she answered “President Biden has said very clearly that there will be no American boots on Ukrainian soil”.

Russian forces advance

  • Reliable pro Russian sources saying that  RUF pushed out units of the 203rd battalion of the 108th Territorial Defence brigade from the village of Mirnoye, Zaporozhye region.
